In the third quarter of 2025, the photography app market in Egypt showcased diverse trends across the top five apps on a unified platform. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Picsart AI Photo Editor, Video from PicsArt, Inc. demonstrated a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $2.9K by the end of September. Downloads surged, reaching a high of approximately 117K during mid-September, while weekly active users saw a decline from about 2.9M to 2.5M over the quarter.

UpFoto - AI Photo Enhancer by AI Photo Team showed a notable spike in weekly downloads, climbing to about 121K in late September. Revenue also saw a significant increase, ending the quarter at approximately $402. Weekly active users rose from 220K to around 299K.

Remini - AI Photo Enhancer, developed by Bending Spoons, maintained a consistent revenue stream, with a peak of $4.7K in the final week of the quarter. Downloads showed an upward trajectory, culminating in about 76K by the end of September. However, active users decreased from roughly 969K to 733K.

Video Editor & Maker - InShot witnessed a slight growth in revenue, reaching $629 in mid-September. Although downloads dwindled to approximately 21K by the quarter’s end, active users experienced fluctuations, ending at around 777K.

Lastly, Photoroom AI Photo Editor displayed a decline in both downloads and active users, with downloads dropping to 7.8K and active users decreasing to about 219K by late September. Revenue remained relatively stable, closing at about $921.
